In formal french: père/mère
Le daron (masculine) and la daronne (feminine) are the equivalent of mom and dad, but it is important to know that it cannot be used to call them. Daron(ne) is exclusively used to talk about them, not to them.
My dad took my phone away, I can’t be reached.
I have to go home early tonight otherwise my mom is gonna yell at me again.
